In order to safeguard the earthing and lightning protection system connections, a concrete earth chamber is currently under construction. The grounding connection is designed to be readily approachable for future examination and maintenance, so the compartment has been outfitted with a cover that can be removed.
Earth rods and their fittings are used to connect to the ground in all types of soil in order to have good earthing systems in overhead and underground electricity distribution and transmission networks. This gives low, medium, and high voltage substations, towers, and power distribution applications a high fault current capacity.
